Lamb shank, dauphinoise potatoes and braised red cabbage - Slowly braised for many hours, resulting in tender and juicy lamb. Perfectly accompanied with some creamy garlic dauphinoise potatoes and sticky red cabbage.

Lamb shank, onions, carrots, celery, parsley, red wine (sulphites), garlic, rosemary, thyme

Red cabbage: cabbage, orange juice, butter (milk), sherry vinegar (sulphur dioxide), redcurrant jelly, sugar

Dauphinoise potatoes: salt, pepper, butter (milk), oil, cream, milk, garlic, cheese

Sauce: red wine (sulphites), shallots, thyme, bay leaf, beef stock

Cooking & plating instructions

To cook

  1. Preheat oven to 180c/160c fan/gas mark 4
  2. Remove the lid from the box and replace with a sheet of tin foil
  3. Reheat the lamb shank in the oven for 35-40 minutes until piping hot
  4. Halfway through cooking remove the lid of the dauphinoise potato and heat in the oven for 15- 20 minutes until piping hot
  5. Remove the lid of the red cabbage, microwave for 1-2 minutes until piping hot and leave to stand for 1 minute

To serve

  1. Spoon the red cabbage and dauphinoise potatoes onto your plate, place the lamb next to the potato and spoon the sauce over the lamb. Serve and enjoy
